Luke 1 : 49
Praise the Lord, who does marvelous things
49. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.
We are to praise the Lord at all times. For then shall we never be put to shame. “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened” (Romans 1: 21). Never let darkness reign over your thoughts, minds and hearts.
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Phil 4: 6, 7)
Be not worried of anything, but keep praising and glorifying the Lord at all times. When we do so,
- darkness flees away
- a peace that passes all understanding fills our hearts and minds
“According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I show unto him marvelous things” (Micah 7: 15). Let’s pray for our nation and its leaders, so that our nation might also praise the Lord, witnessing the marvelous works of the Lord.
