We, at the AJC Ministries, march forward with a vision to reach to the lost souls of every locality, in obedience to the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. For Jesus commanded, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen" (Matthew 28: 19, 20).
We are also envisioned to prepare the congregation that the Lord adds to the church, to meet their Maker in glory. Jesus himself said, "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:" (Matthew 25: 31, 32).
Encounter With God Programme
"Encounter with God" is a proven model for developing sustainable, multiplying and locally-resourced church planting movements in the urban context. In cities throughout the nation, AJC Churches are raising the credibility of the evangelical church in society and re-calibrating expectations of what can be accomplished by churches in cities and townships. The model is effective in meeting the challenge of the modern urban world.
Many strategies and programs have been attempted throughout India each with varying levels of success. While many programs contain methods that can be incorporated into the Encounter Model, Encounter is unique in that it provides a comprehensive framework of principles that guide the implementation of contextualized strategies, programs and methods.
