The primary task of youth ministry is to love youth where they are, to encourage them in developing their relationship with God, to provide them with opportunities to nurture and grow, and to challenge them to respond to God’s call to serve in their communities.

"Encounter with God" is a proven model for developing sustainable, multiplying and locally-resourced church planting movements in the urban context. In cities throughout the nation, AJC Churches are raising the credibility of the evangelical church in society and re-calibrating expectations of what can be accomplished by churches in cities and townships. The model is effective in meeting the challenge of the modern urban world.
Many strategies and programs have been attempted throughout India each with varying levels of success.
