Luke 1 : 49
God uses his children as an instrument in marvelous ways
49. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.
We, the children of God are expected to be executing things, marking on the might of the Lord. Coupled to this, we are supposed to yield ourselves to the working of the might of the Lord in our lives.
Our hearts must be sensitive to remember and think of the marvelous deeds of God in our lives so far. Indeed God performs mighty things in each one’s personal life, family life, spiritual life and ministerial life.
To witness the marvelous doings of the Lord in our lives, we ought to
- Have the faith that God will do marvelous things in my life
- Committing ourselves as a slave at the Lord’s feet just like Mary
God desires each one of us to be instruments / vessels used for His glorious name when we
- Commit ourselves to abstain from unwanted (vain) thoughts
- Give heed to what the Lord speaks through sermons at church
- Put on the glorious likeness of the Lord and reflect the same
- Strive to establish the righteousness of the Lord
- Stop murmuring, rather proclaim the goodness of the Lord
May our great God lead each of you in marvelous ways and use you as a vessel for His glorious name!!
